Mission Statement

WNY Community Impact Collective empowers foster and at-risk youth in Western New York through trauma-informed programs, life skills development, and leadership support to build pathways toward independence and long-term success.

Vision Statement

We envision a Western New York where every young person—regardless of their circumstances—has the support, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive independently and contribute meaningfully to their community.

About Us

WNY Community Impact Collective is a nonprofit organization serving foster and at-risk youth in Buffalo and across Western New York. Our work is rooted in trauma-informed care, restorative practices, and structured skill-building designed to support youth facing systemic barriers and instability.

We focus specifically on young people preparing for independence—particularly those aging out of foster care or at risk of involvement with the justice system. These youth often lack access to consistent support systems, making the transition to adulthood especially challenging.

Our programs address this gap by providing hands-on life skills training, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities. We equip participants with the tools needed to navigate housing, employment, education, and personal growth.

By meeting youth where they are and providing consistent guidance, accountability, and support, we aim to foster resilience, reduce negative system involvement, and empower young people to build stable, self-sufficient futures.
